A really interesting film depicting post-World-War-II (American)
Occupation of (West) Germany and the compromises/licenses that were
being made/taken amidst the ruins, directed by the maestro Billy
Wilder.

A surprisingly light-watch for such a dark setting. Quite a bit of
laughs, too.

A thoroughly brilliant work of art.
